The "Cité des vins et des Climats de Bourgogne", recognized as a public interest project

The fame of Burgundy, a world-famous French region, is deeply linked to its thousand-year-old vineyards. In the heart of this territory, it is a magic that has been working for centuries.

Each terroir (each parcel of vines), also called "Climats", combined with the know-how of men, gives Burgundy wines their typical character.

Today, this wine culture must be preserved and shared. This is why the project of the Cité des Vins et des Climats de Bourgogne aims to transmit this thousand-year-old cultural heritage of Burgundy wines to as many people as possible, to enlighten its meaning in a modern and lively way.

This is why the “Cité des Vins et des Climats de Bourgogne” was recognized in December 2020 by the services of the State as a project of general interest allowing it to benefit from patronage.

This recognition provides a great opportunity for all those who wish to participate in this new project to be able to do so through patronage.
