Benoît de Charette become President of the Cité de vins et des Climats de Bourgogne
François Labet and Louis-Fabrice Latour, at the head of the association since its creation in June 2019, welcomed Benoît de Charette to the presidency during the last general assembly of February 17.
The new President, known and recognized by the profession, comes from a family of winegrowers.
After taking over the family vineyard in Dracy-lès-Couches, Benoît de Charette became Director of the the Federation of Wine merchants and Breeders of Grande Bourgogne (FNEB), then held the position of General Manager of the Beaune wine house Albert Bichot for nearly 30 years.
He also served as President of the Beaune Chamber of Commerce and Industry before becoming President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIR) from 2008 to 2017.
With his background, Benoît de Charette has all the skills to support the Cité des vins et des Climats de Bourgogne in its success.
