A look back at the Open House of the future Cité des vins et des Climats de Bourgogne

Last Thursday, September 9th, in Chablis, the Petit Pontigny cellar which will host the future Cité des vins et des Climats de Bourgogne, opened its doors for the last time, before transformation, to the local habitants/professionals as well as to the wine industry.

The team in charge of the operation received nearly 70 local people throughout the day, in 4 one-hour sessions, in order to present the Cité in the making and answer all their questions. It was also an opportunity for them to discover the exhibition, "Six centuries of Cistercian presence in Chablis", in the cellar of the Petit Pontigny with the presence of Jean-Paul Droin, winemaker turned historian of Chablis' vineyard.
